'Cage'   An image of such symbolism and relevence that sometimes I can scarcely look at it. People often question if I was in fact on substances when I painted it. I have never done recreational drugs... this came straight from the psyche... I'm not quite sure if this is a good thing or not... Regardless, this was another important picture; specifically, it started to convey a greater strength of emotion whilst at the same time marked a leap forward in painting technique.
